If thy people go out to battle against their enemy, by whatsoever way thou shalt send them, and they pray unto Jehovah toward the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house which I have built for thy name;

If¹ thy peopleª go outª° to battleª against¹ their enemy,ª° whithersoeverª¹ thou shalt sendª° them, and shall prayª° unto¹ the LORDª towardª the cityª which¹ thou hast chosen,ª° and [toward] the houseª that¹ I have builtª° for thy name:ª
