hear thou in heaven thy dwelling-place, and do according to all that the foreigner calleth to thee for; that all the peoples of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as doth thy people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by my name.

Hearª° thou¹ in heavenª thy dwellingª° place,ª and doª° according to all¹ that¹ the strangerª callethª° to¹ thee for: that¹ all¹ peopleª of the earthª may knowª°¹ thy name,ª to fearª° thee, as [do] thy peopleª Israel;ª and that they may knowª° that¹ this¹ house,ª which¹ I have builded,ª° is calledª° by¹ thy name.ª

then shalt thou hear [them] from heaven, out of thine established dwelling-place, and thou shalt do according to all that the stranger shall call upon thee for, that all the nations may know thy name, and fear thee, as [do] thy people Israel, and may know that thy name has been called on this house which I have builded.
