Now therefore, O Jehovah, the God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me as thou hast walked before me.

Therefore now,¹ LORDª Godª of Israel,ª keepª° with thy servantª Davidª my fatherª¹ that¹ thou promisedstª° him, saying,ª° There shall not¹ failª° thee a manª in my sightª¹ to sitª° on¹ the throneª of Israel;ª soª that¹ thy childrenª take heed²° to¹¹ their way,ª that they walk²°¹ beforeª me as¹ thou hast walkedª° beforeª me.

Therefore now¹ LORDª Godª of Israel,ª keepeª° with thy seruantª Dauidª my father,ª¹ that¹ thou promisedstª° him, saying;ª° There shall not¹ faileª° thee a manª in my sightª¹ to sitª° on¹ the Throneª of Israel;ª soª that¹ thy childrenª take heede²° to¹¹ their way,ª that they walke²°¹ beforeª me as¹ thou hast walkedª° beforeª me:

And now, O Lord God of Israel, keep for thy servant David my father, [the promises] which thou hast spoken to him, saying, There shall not be taken from thee a man sitting before me on the throne of Israel, provided only thy children shall take heed to their ways, to walk before me as thou hast walked before me.

Therefore now,¹ Yähwè יָהוֶהª ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,ª keepª° with thy servantª Däwiđ דָּוִדª my fatherª¹ that¹ thou promisedstª° him, saying,ª° There shall not¹ failª° thee a manª in my sightª¹ to sitª° on¹ the throneª of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל;ª soª that¹ thy childrenª take heed²° to¹¹ their way,ª that they walk²°¹ beforeª me as¹ thou hast walkedª° beforeª me.
