And Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Go in unto thy father's concubines, that he hath left to keep the house; and all Israel will hear that thou art abhorred of thy father: then will the hands of all that are with thee be strong.

And Ahithophelª saidª° unto¹ Absalom,ª Go¹ in²° unto¹ thy father'sª concubines,ª which¹ he hath left²°¹ to keepª° the house;ª and all¹ Israelª shall hearª° that¹ thou art abhorredª° of¹ thy father:ª then shall the handsª of all¹ that¹ [are] with¹ thee be strong.ª°

And Ahithophel{gr.Achitophel} said to Absalom{gr.Abessalom}, Go in to thy father's concubines, whom he left to keep his house; and all Israel shall hear that thou hast dishonoured thy father; and the hands of all that are with thee shall be strengthened.
