Galatians 4

1 We were under the Law till Christ came, as the heir is under his guardian till he be of age. 5 But Christ freed us from the Law: 7 therefore we are servants no longer to it. 14 He remembereth their good will to him, and his to them, 22 and sheweth that we are the sons of Abraham by the freewoman.

 4:1 Now 1161 I say 3004, as long 5550 as the heir 2818 is a child 3516, he does not differ 1308 at all 3761 from a slave 1401 although he is owner 2962 of everything 3956,

 4:2 but he is under 5259 guardians 2012 and managers 3623 until 891 the date 4287 set 4287 by the father 3962.

 4:3 So 3779 also 2532 we, while 3753 we were children 3516, were held 1402 in bondage 1402 under 5259 the elemental 4747 things 4747 of the world 2889.

 4:4 But when 3753 the fullness 4138 of the time 5550 came 2064, God 2316 sent 1821 forth 1821 His Son 5207, born 1096 of a woman 1135, born 1096 under 5259 the Law 3551,

 4:5 so 2443 that He might redeem 1805 those 3588 who were under 5259 the Law 3551, that we might receive 618 the adoption 5206 as sons 5206.

 4:6 Because 3754 you are sons 5207, God 2316 has sent 1821 forth 1821 the Spirit 4151 of His Son 5207 into our hearts 2588, crying 2896, “Abba 5! Father 3962!”

 4:7 Therefore 5620 you are no 3765 longer 3765 a slave 1401, but a son 5207; and if 1487 a son 5207, then 2532 an heir 2818 through 1223 God 2316.

 4:8 ¶ However 235 at that time 5119, when you did not know 3609a God 2316, you were slaves 1398 to those 3588 which by nature 5449 are no 3361 gods 2316.

 4:9 But now 3568 that you have come to know 1097 God 2316, or 1161 rather 3123 to be known 1097 by God 2316, how 4459 is it that you turn 1994 back 1994 again 3825 to the weak 772 and worthless 4434 elemental 4747 things 4747, to which 3739 you desire 2309 to be enslaved 1398 all 509 over 509 again 3825?

 4:10 You observe 3906 days 2250 and months 3376 and seasons 2540 and years 1763.

 4:11 I fear 5399 for you, that perhaps 4458 I have labored 2872 over 1519 you in vain 1500.

 4:12 ¶ I beg 1189a of you, brethren 80, become 1096 as I [am], for I also 2532 [have become] as you [are]. You have done 91 me no 3762 wrong 91;

 4:13 but you know 3609a that it was because 1223 of a bodily 4561 illness 769 that I preached 2097 the gospel 2097 to you the first 4387 time 4387;

 4:14 and that which 3986 was a trial 3986 to you in my bodily 4561 condition 4561 you did not despise 1848 or 3761 loathe 1609, but you received 1209 me as an angel 32a of God 2316, as Christ 5547 Jesus 2424 [Himself].

 4:15 Where 4226 then 3767 is that sense 3108 of blessing 3108 you had? For I bear 3140 you witness 3140 that, if 1487 possible 1415, you would have plucked 1846 out your eyes 3788 and given 1325 them to me.

 4:16 So 5620 have I become 1096 your enemy 2190 by telling 226 you the truth 226?

 4:17 They eagerly 2206 seek 2206 you, not commendably 2573, but they wish 2309 to shut 1576 you out so 2443 that you will seek 2206 them.

 4:18 But it is good 2570 always 3842 to be eagerly 2206 sought 2206 in a commendable 2570 manner 2570, and not only 3440 when 1722 I am 3918b present 3918b with you.

 4:19 My children 5043, with whom 3739 I am 5605 again 3825 in labor 5605 until 3360 Christ 5547 is formed 3445 in you—

 4:20 but I could wish 2309 to be present 3918b with you now 737 and to change 236 my tone 5456, for I am 639 perplexed 639 about 1722 you.

 4:21 ¶ Tell 3004 me, you who want 2309 to be under 5259 law 3551, do you not listen 191 to the law 3551?

 4:22 For it is written 1125 that Abraham 11 had 2192 two 1417 sons 5207, one 1520 by the bondwoman 3814 and one 1520 by the free 1658 woman 1658.

 4:23 But the son by the bondwoman 3814 was born 1080 according 2596 to the flesh 4561, and the son by the free 1658 woman 1658 through 1223 the promise 1860.

 4:24 This 3748 is allegorically 238 speaking 238, for these 3778 [women] are two 1417 covenants 1242: one 1520 [proceeding] from Mount 3735 Sinai 4614 bearing 1080 children 1080 who are to be slaves 1397; she is Hagar 28.

 4:25 Now 3568 this 3588 Hagar 28 is Mount 3735 Sinai 4614 in Arabia 688 and corresponds 4960 to the present 3568 Jerusalem 2419, for she is in slavery 1398 with her children 5043.

 4:26 But the Jerusalem 2419 above 507 is free 1658; she is our mother 3384.

 4:27 For it is written 1125, “REJOICE 2165, BARREN 4723 WOMAN 4723 WHO DOES NOT BEAR 5088; BREAK 4486 FORTH 4486 AND SHOUT 994, YOU WHO ARE NOT IN LABOR 5605; FOR MORE 4183 NUMEROUS 4183 ARE THE CHILDREN 5043 OF THE DESOLATE 2048 THAN 2228 OF THE ONE WHO HAS 2192 A HUSBAND 435.”

 4:28 And you brethren 80, like 2596 Isaac 2464, are children 5043 of promise 1860.

 4:29 But as at that time 5119 he who was born 1080 according 2596 to the flesh 4561 persecuted 1377 him [who was born] according 2596 to the Spirit 4151, so 3779 it is now 3568 also 2532.

 4:30 But what 5101 does the Scripture 1124 say 3004? “CAST 1544b OUT THE BONDWOMAN 3814 AND HER SON 5207, FOR THE SON 5207 OF THE BONDWOMAN 3814 SHALL NOT BE AN HEIR 2816 WITH THE SON 5207 OF THE FREE 1658 WOMAN 1658.”

 4:31 So 1352 then 1352, brethren 80, we are not children 5043 of a bondwoman 3814, but of the free 1658 woman 1658.
