1 The end of the Law is obedience. 3 An exhortation thereto.

6:1 ¶ Now these x2063 [are] the commandments, 4687 the statutes, 2706 and the judgments, 4941 which x834 Yahweh 3068 your Elohim 430 commanded 6680 z8765 to teach 3925 z8763 you, that ye might do 6213 z8800 [them] in the land 776 whither x834 x8033 ye x859 go 5674 z8802 to possess 3423 z8800 it:

6:2 That x4616 thou mightest fear 3372 z8799 x853 Yahweh 3068 thy Elohim, 430 to keep 8104 z8800 x853 all x3605 his statutes 2708 and his commandments, 4687 which x834 I x595 command 6680 z8764 thee, thou, x859 and thy son, 1121 and thy son's 1121 son, 1121 all x3605 the days 3117 of thy life; 2416 and that x4616 thy days 3117 may be prolonged. 748 z8686

6:3 ¶ Hear 8085 z8804 therefore, O Israel, 3478 and observe 8104 z8804 to do 6213 z8800 [it]; that x834 it may be well 3190 z8799 with thee, and that x834 ye may increase 7235 z8799 mightily, 3966 as x834 Yahweh 3068 Elohim 430 of thy fathers 1 hath promised 1696 z8765 thee, in the land 776 that floweth 2100 z8802 with milk 2461 and honey. 1706

6:5 And thou shalt love 157 z8804 x853 Yahweh 3068 thy Elohim 430 with all x3605 thine heart, 3824 and with all x3605 thy soul, 5315 and with all x3605 thy might. 3966

6:6 And these x428 words, 1697 which x834 I x595 command 6680 z8764 thee this day, 3117 shall be x1961 in x5921 thine heart: 3824

6:7 And thou shalt teach them diligently 8150 z8765 unto thy children, 1121 and shalt talk 1696 z8765 of them when thou sittest 3427 z8800 in thine house, 1004 and when thou walkest y3212 z8800 x1980 by the way, 1870 and when thou liest down, 7901 z8800 and when thou risest up. 6965 z8800

6:8 And thou shalt bind 7194 z8804 them for a sign 226 upon x5921 thine hand, 3027 and they shall be x1961 as frontlets 2903 between x996 thine eyes. 5869

6:9 And thou shalt write 3789 z8804 them upon x5921 the posts 4201 of thy house, 1004 and on thy gates. 8179

6:10 And it shall be, x1961 when x3588 Yahweh 3068 thy Elohim 430 shall have brought 935 z8686 thee into x413 the land 776 which x834 he sware 7650 z8738 unto thy fathers, 1 to Abraham, 85 to Isaac, 3327 and to Jacob, 3290 to give 5414 z8800 thee great 1419 and goodly 2896 cities, 5892 which x834 thou buildedst 1129 z8804 not, x3808

6:11 And houses 1004 full 4392 of all x3605 good 2898 [things], which x834 thou filledst 4390 z8765 not, x3808 and wells 953 digged, 2672 z8803 which x834 thou diggedst 2672 z8804 not, x3808 vineyards 3754 and olive trees, 2132 which x834 thou plantedst 5193 z8804 not; x3808 when thou shalt have eaten 398 z8804 and be full; 7646 z8804

6:12 [Then] beware 8104 z8734 lest x6435 thou forget 7911 z8799 x853 Yahweh, 3068 which x834 brought thee forth 3318 z8689 out of the land 776 x4480 of Egypt, 4714 from the house 1004 x4480 of bondage. 5650

6:13 Thou shalt fear 3372 z8799 x853 Yahweh 3068 thy Elohim, 430 and serve 5647 z8799 him, and shalt swear 7650 z8735 by his name. 8034

6:14 Ye shall not x3808 go y3212 z8799 x1980 after 310 other 312 elohim, 430 of the elohim 430 x4480 of the people 5971 which x834 [are] round about 5439 you;

6:15 (For x3588 Yahweh 3068 thy Elohim 430 [is] a jealous 7067 El 410 among 7130 you) lest x6435 the anger 639 of Yahweh 3068 thy Elohim 430 be kindled 2734 z8799 against thee, and destroy 8045 z8689 thee from off x4480 x5921 the face 6440 of the earth. 127

6:16 ¶ Ye shall not x3808 tempt 5254 z8762 x853 Yahweh 3068 your Elohim, 430 as x834 ye tempted 5254 z8765 [him] in Massah. 4532

6:17 Ye shall diligently y8104 z8800 keep 8104 z8799 x853 the commandments 4687 of Yahweh 3068 your Elohim, 430 and his testimonies, 5713 and his statutes, 2706 which x834 he hath commanded 6680 z8765 thee.

6:18 And thou shalt do 6213 z8804 [that which is] right 3477 and good 2896 in the sight 5869 of Yahweh: 3068 that x4616 it may be well 3190 z8799 with thee, and that thou mayest go in 935 z8804 and possess 3423 z8804 x853 the good 2896 land 776 which x834 Yahweh 3068 sware 7650 z8738 unto thy fathers, 1

6:19 To cast out 1920 z8800 x853 all x3605 thine enemies 341 z8802 from before 6440 x4480 thee, as x834 Yahweh 3068 hath spoken. 1696 z8765

6:20 [And] when x3588 thy son 1121 asketh 7592 z8799 thee in time to come, 4279 saying, 559 z8800 What x4100 [mean] the testimonies, 5713 and the statutes, 2706 and the judgments, 4941 which x834 Yahweh 3068 our Elohim 430 hath commanded 6680 z8765 you?

6:21 Then thou shalt say 559 z8804 unto thy son, 1121 We were x1961 Pharaoh's 6547 bondmen 5650 in Egypt; 4714 and Yahweh 3068 brought us out 3318 z8686 of Egypt 4714 x4480 with a mighty 2389 hand: 3027

6:22 And Yahweh 3068 shewed 5414 z8799 signs 226 and wonders, 4159 great 1419 and sore, 7451 upon Egypt, 4714 upon Pharaoh, 6547 and upon all x3605 his household, 1004 before our eyes: 5869

6:23 And he brought us out 3318 z8689 x853 from thence, x4480 x8033 that x4616 he might bring us in, 935 z8687 x853 to give 5414 z8800 us x853 the land 776 which x834 he sware 7650 z8738 unto our fathers. 1

6:24 And Yahweh 3068 commanded 6680 z8762 us to do 6213 z8800 x853 all x3605 these x428 statutes, 2706 to fear 3372 z8800 x853 Yahweh 3068 our Elohim, 430 for our good 2896 always, 3117 x3605 that he might preserve us alive, 2421 z8763 as [it is] at this x2088 day. 3117

6:25 And it shall be x1961 our righteousness, 6666 if x3588 we observe 8104 z8799 to do 6213 z8800 x853 all x3605 these 2063 commandments 4687 before 6440 Yahweh 3068 our Elohim, 430 as x834 he hath commanded 6680 z8765 us.
