Deuteronomy 31

1 Moses encourageth the people. 7 He encourageth Joshua. 9 He delivereth the Law unto the priests to read it in the seventh year to the people. 14 God giveth a charge to Joshua, 19 and a song to testify against the people. 24 Moses delivereth the book of the Law to the Levites to keep. 28 He maketh a protestation to the elders.

 31:1 ¶ And Moses 4872 went y3212 z8799 x1980 and spake 1696 z8762 x853 these x428 words 1697 unto x413 all x3605 Israel. 3478

 31:2 And he said 559 z8799 unto x413 them, I x595 [am] an hundred 3967 and twenty 6242 years 8141 old 1121 this day; 3117 I can 3201 z8799 no x3808 more x5750 go out 3318 z8800 and come in: 935 z8800 also Yahweh 3068 hath said 559 z8804 unto x413 me, Thou shalt not x3808 go over 5674 z8799 x853 this x2088 Jordan. 3383

 31:3 Yahweh 3068 thy Elohim, 430 he x1931 will go over 5674 z8802 before 6440 thee, [and] he x1931 will destroy 8045 z8686 x853 these x428 nations 1471 from before 6440 x4480 thee, and thou shalt possess 3423 z8804 them: [and] Joshua, 3091 he x1931 shall go over 5674 z8802 before 6440 thee, as x834 Yahweh 3068 hath said. 1696 z8765

 31:4 And Yahweh 3068 shall do 6213 z8804 unto them as x834 he did 6213 z8804 to Sihon 5511 and to Og, 5747 kings 4428 of the Amorites, 567 and unto the land 776 of them, whom x834 x853 he destroyed. 8045 z8689

 31:5 And Yahweh 3068 shall give them up 5414 z8804 before your face, 6440 that ye may do 6213 z8804 unto them according unto all x3605 the commandments 4687 which x834 I have commanded 6680 z8765 you.

 31:6 Be strong 2388 z8798 and of a good courage, 553 z8798 fear 3372 z8799 not, x408 nor x408 be afraid 6206 z8799 of x4480 x6440 them: y6440 for x3588 Yahweh 3068 thy Elohim, 430 he x1931 [it is] that doth go 1980 z8802 with x5973 thee; he will not x3808 fail 7503 z8686 thee, nor x3808 forsake 5800 z8799 thee.

 31:7 ¶ And Moses 4872 called 7121 z8799 unto Joshua, 3091 and said 559 z8799 unto x413 him in the sight 5869 of all x3605 Israel, 3478 Be strong 2388 z8798 and of a good courage: 553 z8798 for x3588 thou x859 must go 935 z8799 with x854 this x2088 people 5971 unto x413 the land 776 which x834 Yahweh 3068 hath sworn 7650 z8738 unto their fathers 1 to give 5414 z8800 them; and thou x859 shalt cause them to inherit 5157 z8686 it.

 31:8 And Yahweh, 3068 he x1931 [it is] that doth go 1980 z8802 before 6440 thee; he x1931 will be x1961 with thee, x5973 he will not x3808 fail 7503 z8686 thee, neither x3808 forsake 5800 z8799 thee: fear 3372 z8799 not, x3808 neither x3808 be dismayed. 2865 z8735

 31:9 ¶ And Moses 4872 wrote 3789 z8799 x853 this x2063 law, 8451 and delivered 5414 z8799 it unto x413 the priests 3548 the sons 1121 of Levi, 3878 which bare 5375 z8802 x853 the ark 727 of the covenant 1285 of Yahweh, 3068 and unto x413 all x3605 the elders 2205 of Israel. 3478

 31:10 And Moses 4872 commanded 6680 z8762 them, saying, 559 z8800 At the end 7093 x4480 of [every] seven 7651 years, 8141 in the solemnity 4150 of the year 8141 of release, 8059 in the feast 2282 of tabernacles, 5521

 31:11 When all x3605 Israel 3478 is come 935 z8800 to appear 7200 z8736 x853 before 6440 Yahweh 3068 thy Elohim 430 in the place 4725 which x834 he shall choose, 977 z8799 thou shalt read 7121 z8799 x853 this x2063 law 8451 before x5048 all x3605 Israel 3478 in their hearing. 241

 31:12 Gather y6950 z0 the people y5971 together, 6950 z8685 x853 x5971 men, y582 x376 and women, 802 and children, 2945 and thy stranger 1616 that x834 [is] within thy gates, 8179 that x4616 they may hear, 8085 z8799 and that x4616 they may learn, 3925 z8799 and fear 3372 z8804 x853 Yahweh 3068 your Elohim, 430 and observe 8104 z8804 to do 6213 z8800 x853 all x3605 the words 1697 of this x2063 law: 8451

 31:13 And [that] their children, 1121 which x834 have not x3808 known 3045 z8804 [any thing], may hear, 8085 z8799 and learn 3925 z8804 to fear 3372 z8800 x853 Yahweh 3068 your Elohim, 430 as long as 3117 x3605 x834 ye x859 live 2416 in x5921 the land 127 whither x834 x8033 ye x859 go over 5674 z8802 x853 Jordan 3383 to possess 3423 z8800 it.

 31:14 ¶ And Yahweh 3068 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Moses, 4872 Behold, x2005 thy days 3117 approach 7126 z8804 that thou must die: 4191 z8800 call 7121 z8798 x853 Joshua, 3091 and present y3320 z8690 yourselves x3320 in the tabernacle 168 of the congregation, 4150 that I may give him a charge. 6680 z8762 And Moses 4872 and Joshua 3091 went, y3212 z8799 x1980 and presented y3320 z8691 themselves x3320 in the tabernacle 168 of the congregation. 4150

 31:15 And Yahweh 3068 appeared 7200 z8735 in the tabernacle 168 in a pillar 5982 of a cloud: 6051 and the pillar 5982 of the cloud 6051 stood 5975 z8799 over x5921 the door 6607 of the tabernacle. 168

 31:16 ¶ And Yahweh 3068 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Moses, 4872 Behold, x2009 thou shalt sleep 7901 z8802 with x5973 thy fathers; 1 and this x2088 people 5971 will rise up, 6965 z8804 and go a whoring 2181 z8804 after 310 the elohim 430 of the strangers 5236 of the land, 776 whither x834 x8033 they x1931 go 935 z8802 [to be] among 7130 them, and will forsake 5800 z8804 me, and break 6565 z8689 x853 my covenant 1285 which x834 I have made 3772 z8804 with x854 them.

 31:17 Then my anger 639 shall be kindled 2734 z8804 against them in that x1931 day, 3117 and I will forsake 5800 z8804 them, and I will hide 5641 z8689 my face 6440 from x4480 them, and they shall be x1961 devoured, 398 z8800 and many 7227 evils 7451 and troubles 6869 shall befall 4672 z8804 them; so that they will say 559 z8804 in that x1931 day, 3117 Are not x3808 these x428 evils 7451 come y4672 z8804 upon x4672 us, because x5921 x3588 our Elohim 430 [is] not x369 among 7130 us?

 31:18 And I x595 will surely y5641 z8687 hide 5641 z8686 my face 6440 in that x1931 day 3117 for x5921 all x3605 the evils 7451 which x834 they shall have wrought, 6213 z8804 in that 3588 they are turned 6437 z8804 unto x413 other 312 elohim. 430

 31:19 Now x6258 therefore write 3789 z8798 x853 ye this x2063 song 7892 for you, and teach 3925 z8761 it x853 the children 1121 of Israel: 3478 put 7760 z8798 it in their mouths, 6310 that x4616 this x2063 song 7892 may be x1961 a witness 5707 for me against the children 1121 of Israel. 3478

 31:20 For x3588 when I shall have brought 935 z8686 them into x413 the land 127 which x834 I sware 7650 z8738 unto their fathers, 1 that floweth 2100 z8802 with milk 2461 and honey; 1706 and they shall have eaten 398 z8804 and filled y7646 z8804 themselves, x7646 and waxen fat; 1878 z8804 then will they turn 6437 z8804 unto x413 other 312 elohim, 430 and serve 5647 z8804 them, and provoke 5006 z8765 me, and break 6565 z8689 x853 my covenant. 1285

 31:21 And it shall come to pass, x1961 when x3588 many 7227 evils 7451 and troubles 6869 are befallen 4672 z8799 them, that this x2063 song 7892 shall testify 6030 z8804 against 6440 them as a witness; 5707 for x3588 it shall not x3808 be forgotten 7911 z8735 out of the mouths 6310 x4480 of their seed: 2233 for x3588 I know 3045 z8804 x853 their imagination 3336 which x834 they x1931 go about, 6213 z8802 even now, 3117 before x2962 I have brought 935 z8686 them into x413 the land 776 which x834 I sware. 7650 z8738

 31:22 ¶ Moses 4872 therefore wrote 3789 z8799 x853 this x2063 song 7892 the same x1931 day, 3117 and taught 3925 z8762 it x853 the children 1121 of Israel. 3478

 31:23 And he gave x6680 x853 Joshua 3091 the son 1121 of Nun 5126 a charge, y6680 z8762 and said, 559 z8799 Be strong 2388 z8798 and of a good courage: 553 z8798 for x3588 thou x859 shalt bring 935 z8686 x853 the children 1121 of Israel 3478 into x413 the land 776 which x834 I sware 7650 z8738 unto them: and I x595 will be x1961 with x5973 thee.

 31:24 ¶ And it came to pass, x1961 when Moses 4872 had made an end 3615 z8763 of writing 3789 z8800 x853 the words 1697 of this x2063 law 8451 in x5921 a book, 5612 until x5704 they were finished, 8552 z8800

 31:25 That Moses 4872 commanded 6680 z8762 x853 the Levites, 3881 which bare 5375 z8802 the ark 727 of the covenant 1285 of Yahweh, 3068 saying, 559 z8800

 31:26 Take 3947 z8800 x853 this x2088 book 5612 of the law, 8451 and put 7760 z8804 it in the side 6654 x4480 of the ark 727 of the covenant 1285 of Yahweh 3068 your Elohim, 430 that it may be x1961 there x8033 for a witness 5707 against thee.

 31:27 For x3588 I x595 know 3045 z8804 x853 thy rebellion, 4805 and thy stiff 7186 neck: 6203 behold, x2005 while I am yet x5750 alive 2416 with x5973 you this day, 3117 ye have been x1961 rebellious 4784 z8688 against x5973 Yahweh; 3068 and how x3588 much more x637 after 310 my death? 4194

 31:28 ¶ Gather 6950 z8685 unto x413 me x853 all x3605 the elders 2205 of your tribes, 7626 and your officers, 7860 z8802 that I may speak 1696 z8762 x853 these x428 words 1697 in their ears, 241 and call 5749 z0 x853 heaven 8064 and earth 776 to record y5749 z8686 against them.

 31:29 For x3588 I know 3045 z8804 that after 310 my death 4194 ye will utterly y7843 z8687 corrupt 7843 z8686 [yourselves], and turn aside 5493 z8804 from x4480 the way 1870 which x834 I have commanded 6680 z8765 you; and evil 7451 will befall 7122 z8804 you in the latter 319 days; 3117 because x3588 ye will do 6213 z8799 x853 evil 7451 in the sight 5869 of Yahweh, 3068 to provoke him to anger 3707 z8687 through the work 4639 of your hands. 3027

 31:30 And Moses 4872 spake 1696 z8762 in the ears 241 of all x3605 the congregation 6951 of Israel 3478 x853 the words 1697 of this x2063 song, 7892 until x5704 they were ended. 8552 z8800
