And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden; he hath destroyed his place of assembly: Jehovah hath caused solemn assembly and sabbath to be forgotten in Zion, And hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.

And he hath violently taken awayª° his tabernacle,ª as [if it were of] a garden:ª he hath destroyedª° his places of the assembly:ª the LORDª hath caused the solemn feastsª and sabbathsª to be forgottenª° in Zion,ª and hath despisedª° in the indignationª of his angerª the kingª and the priest.ª

VAU. And he has scattered his tabernacle as a vine, he has marred his feast: the Lord has forgotten the feast and the sabbath which he appointed in Zion{gr.Sion}, and in the fury of his wrath has vexed the king, and priest, and prince.
