But thus saith Jehovah, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered; for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

But¹ thus¹ saithª° the LORD,ª Even¹ the captivesª of the mightyª shall be taken away,ª° and the preyª of the terribleª shall be delivered:ª° for I¹ will contend²° with¹ him that contendeth² with¹ thee, and I¹ will saveª° thy children.ª

For thus saith the Lord, If one should take a giant captive, he shall take spoils, and he who takes [them] from a mighty [man] shall be delivered: for I will plead thy cause, and I will deliver thy children.
