Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know the dawning thereof: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it away: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou knowest not.

Therefore shall evilª comeª° upon¹ thee; thou shalt not¹ knowª° from whence it riseth:ª and mischiefª shall fallª° upon¹ thee; thou shalt not¹ be ableª° to put it off:ª° and desolationª shall comeª° upon¹ thee suddenly,ª [which] thou shalt not¹ know.ª°
