And Jehovah of hosts will stir up against him a scourge, as in the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and his rod will be over the sea, and he will lift it up after the manner of Egypt.

a scourgeª

him according to the slaughterª
of Midianª
at the rockª
of Oreb:ª
and [as] his rodª
[was] upon¹
the sea,ª
so shall he lift it upª°
after the mannerª
of Egypt.ª
