Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear Jehovah: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two children to be bondmen.

Now there criedª° a certainª womanª of the wivesª¹ of the sonsª of the prophetsª unto¹ Elisha,ª saying,ª° Thy servantª my husbandª is dead;ª° and thou¹ knowestª° that¹ thy servantª did¹ fear²¹¹ the LORD:ª and the creditorª° is comeª° to takeª° unto him¹ my twoª sonsª to be bondmen.ª

And one of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried to Elisha{gr.Elisaie}, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant feared the Lord: and the creditor is come to take my two sons to be his servants.

Now there criedª° a certainª womanª of the wivesª¹ of the sonsª of the prophetsª unto¹ ´Élîšä` אֱלִישָׁע,ª saying,ª° Thy servantª my husbandª is dead;ª° and thou¹ knowestª° that¹ thy servantª did¹ fear²¹¹ Yähwè יָהוֶה:ª and the creditorª° is comeª° to takeª° unto him¹ my twoª sonsª to be bondmen.ª
