Then thy handmaid said, Let, I pray thee, the word of my lord the king be comfortable; for as an angel of God, so is my lord the king to discern good and bad: and Jehovah thy God be with thee.

Then thine handmaidª said,ª° The wordª of my lordª the kingª shall now¹ be¹ comfortable:ª for¹ as an angelª of God,ª so¹ [is] my lordª the kingª to discernª° goodª and bad:ª therefore the LORDª thy Godª will be¹ with¹ thee.

And the woman said, If now the word of my lord the king be gracious,-- [well]: for as an angel of God, so [is] my lord the king, to hear good and evil: and the Lord thy God shall be with thee.

Then thine handmaidª said,ª° The wordª of my ´áđôn אֲדוֹןª the kingª shall now¹ be¹ comfortable:ª for¹ as an angelª of ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,ª so¹ [is] my ´áđôn אֲדוֹןª the kingª to discernª° goodª and bad:ª therefore Yähwè יָהוֶהª thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםª will be¹ with¹ thee.
