Now therefore seeing that I am come to speak this word unto my lord the king, it is because the people have made me afraid: and thy handmaid said, I will now speak unto the king; it may be that the king will perform the request of his servant.

Now¹ therefore that¹ I am comeª° to speakª° of¹ this¹ thingª unto¹ my lordª the king,ª [it is] because¹ the peopleª have made me afraid:ª° and thy handmaidª said,ª° I will now¹ speakª° unto¹ the king;ª it may be¹ that the kingª will performª°¹ the requestª of his handmaid.ª

Now¹ therefore that¹ I am comeª° to speakeª° of¹ this¹ thingª vnto¹ my lordª the king,ª [it is] because¹ the peopleª haue made me afraid:ª° and thy handmaydª said,ª° I will now¹ speakeª° vnto¹ the king;ª it may bee¹ that the kingª will performeª°¹ the requestª of his handmayd.ª

And now whereas I came to speak this word to my lord the king, [the reason is] that the people will see me, and thy handmaid will say, Let one now speak to my lord the king, if peradventure the king will perform the request of his handmaid;

Now¹ therefore that¹ I am comeª° to speakª° of¹ this¹ thingª unto¹ my ´áđôn אֲדוֹןª the king,ª [it is] because¹ the peopleª have made me afraid:ª° and thy handmaidª said,ª° I will now¹ speakª° unto¹ the king;ª it may be¹ that the kingª will performª°¹ the requestª of his handmaid.ª
