And if the bright spot stay in its place, and be not spread in the skin, but be dim; it is the rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is the scar of the burning.

And if¹ the bright² spotª stayª° in his place,¹ [and] spreadª° not¹ in the skin,ª but it¹ [be] somewhat dark;ª it¹ [is] a risingª of the burning,ª and the priestª shall pronounce him clean:ª° for¹ it¹ [is] an inflammationª of the burning.ª
