1 He teacheth the duty of wives and husbands to each other, 8 exhorting all men to unity and love, 14 and to suffer persecution. 19 He declareth also the benefits of Christ toward the old world.

¶ To sum 5056 up, all 3956 of you be harmonious 3675, sympathetic 4835, brotherly 5361, kindhearted 2155, and humble 5012b in spirit 5012b;

not returning 591 evil 2556 for evil 2556 or 2228 insult 3059 for insult 3059, but giving 2127 a blessing 2127 instead 5121; for you were called 2564 for the very 3778 purpose that you might inherit 2816 a blessing 2129.

For, “THE ONE 3588 WHO DESIRES 2309 LIFE 2222, TO LOVE 25 AND SEE 3708 GOOD 18 DAYS 2250, MUST KEEP 3973 HIS TONGUE 1100 FROM EVIL 2556 AND HIS LIPS 5491 FROM SPEAKING 2980 DECEIT 1388.

“HE MUST TURN 1578 AWAY 1578 FROM EVIL 2556 AND DO 4160 GOOD 18; HE MUST SEEK 2212 PEACE 1515 AND PURSUE 1377 IT.
