For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren:

Forª whomª he did foreknow,ª° he²° alsoª did predestinateª° [to be] conformed² to¹ the¹ imageª of his²¹ Son,ª that² heª might beª° the firstbornª amongª manyª brethren.ª

And from the first he knew them, and signified them in the likeness of the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born of many brethren.

And he knew them, previously; and he sealed them with the likeness of the image of his Son; that He might be the first-born of many brothers.

ὅτι οὓς προέγνω, καὶ προώρισεν συμμόρφους τῆς εἰκόνος τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ, εἰς τὸ εἶναι αὐτὸν πρωτότοκον ἐν πολλοῖς ἀδελφοῖς:
