And after these things Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, asked of Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave [him] leave. He came therefore, and took away his body.

Andª afterª thisª Josephª ofª Arimathaea,ª beingª° a discipleª of Jesus,ª butª secretlyª° forª fearª of the¹ Jews,ª besoughtª° Pilateª thatª he might take awayª° the¹ bodyª of Jesus:ª andª Pilateª gave [him] leave.ª° He cameª° therefore,ª andª tookª° the¹ bodyª of Jesus.ª

Andª afterª this,ª Iosephª ofª Arimatheaª (beingª° a discipleª of Iesus,ª butª secretlyª° forª feareª of the¹ Iewes)ª besoughtª° Pilateª thatª he might take awayª° the¹ bodyª of Iesus,ª andª Pilateª gaue him leaue:ª° he cameª° therefore,ª andª tookeª° the¹ bodyª of Iesus.ª

After these Jauseph, he who was of Rometha, begged of Pilatos, for he was a disciple of Jeshu, but secretly for fear of the Jihudoyee, that he might take the body of Jeshu: and Pilatos permitted. And he came and took the body of Jeshu.

After these things, Joseph of Ramath, (for he was a disciple of Jesus, and kept concealed through fear of the Jews,) requested of Pilate, that he might take away the body of Jesus. And Pilate permitted. And he came, and bore away the body of Jesus.

Μετὰ δὲ ταῦτα ἠρώτησεν τὸν Πειλᾶτον Ἰωσὴφ ἀπὸ Ἁριμαθαίας, ὢν μαθητὴς [τοῦ] Ἰησοῦ κεκρυμμένος δὲ διὰ τὸν φόβον τῶν Ἰουδαίων, ἵνα ἄρῃ τὸ σῶμα τοῦ Ἰησοῦ: καὶ ἐπέτρεψεν ὁ Πειλᾶτος. ἦλθεν οὖν καὶ ἦρεν τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ.

With moreover to-the-ones-these it-entreated-unto to-the-one to-a-Peilatos, an-Iosef off of-an-Arimathaia, being a-learner [of-the-one] of-an-Iesous having-had-come-to-be-concealed moreover through to-the-one to-a-fearee of-the-ones of-Iouda-belonged, so it-might-have-lifted to-the-one to-a-body of-the-one of-an-Iesous and it-turned-upon, the-one a-Peilatos. It-had-came accordingly and it-lifted to-the-one to-a-body of-it.
