These things have I spoken unto you in dark sayings: the hour cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in dark sayings, but shall tell you plainly of the Father.

These thingsª have I spokenª° unto youª inª proverbs:ª butª the timeª cometh,ª° whenª I shall²° no¹ more²¹ speakª° unto youª inª proverbs,ª butª I shall shewª° youª plainlyª ofª the¹ Father.ª

These thingsª haue I spokenª° vnto youª inª prouerbs:ªª the timeª commethª° whenª I shall²° no¹ more²¹ speakeª° vnto youª inª prouerbes,ª butª I shall shewª° youª plainlyª ofª the¹ Father.ª

These in parables I have spoken with you; but the hour cometh when I will not speak with you in parables, but manifestly; and I will announce to you concerning the Father.

These things have I spoken to you in allegories: but the hour will come, when I shall not speak to you in allegories, but I will speak to you plainly of the Father.

Ταῦτα ἐν παροιμίαις λελάληκα ὑμῖν: ἔρχεται ὥρα ὅτε οὐκέτι ἐν παροιμίαις λαλήσω ὑμῖν ἀλλὰ παρρησίᾳ περὶ τοῦ πατρὸς ἀπαγγελῶ ὑμῖν.
