He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

He that findethª° his²¹ lifeª shall loseª° it:ª andª he that losethª° his²¹ lifeª for my² sakeª¹ shall findª° it.ª

Whosoever will find his life shall lose it, and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake shall find it.

He that preserveth his life, shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake, shall preserve it.

ὁ εὑρὼν τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ ἀπολέσει αὐτήν, καὶ ὁ ἀπολέσας τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ ἕνεκεν ἐμοῦ εὑρήσει αὐτήν.
