Ye say also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith Jehovah of hosts; and ye have brought that which was taken by violence, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye bring the offering: should I accept this at your hand? saith Jehovah.

Ye saidª° also, Behold,¹ what a wearinessª¹ [is it]! and ye have snuffed²° at¹ it, saithª° the LORDª of hosts;ª and ye broughtª° [that which was] torn,ª° and the lame,ª and the sick;ª° thus ye broughtª°¹ an offering:ª should I acceptª° this of your hand?ª¹ saithª° the LORD.ª

Yee saidª° also; Behold¹ what a wearinesseª¹ [is it], and yee haue snuffed²° at¹ it, saithª° the LORDª of hostes,ª and yee broughtª° that which was torne,ª° and the lame,ª and the sicke:ª° thus yee broughtª°¹ an offring:ª should I acceptª° this of your hand,ª¹ saithª° the LORD?ª

And ye said, These [services] are troublesome: therefore I have utterly rejected them with scorn, saith the Lord Almighty: and ye brought in torn victims, and lame, and sick: if then ye should bring an offering, shall I accept them at your hands? saith the Lord Almighty.
