Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the breath of Jehovah coming up from the wilderness; and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall make spoil of the treasure of all goodly vessels.

Though¹ he¹ be fruitfulª° among¹ [his] brethren,ª an east windª shall come,ª° the windª of the LORDª shall come upª° from the wilderness,ª¹ and his springª shall become dry,ª° and his fountainª shall be dried up:ª° he¹ shall spoilª° the treasureª of all¹ pleasantª vessels.ª

Though¹ he¹ be fruitfullª° among¹ [his] brethren,ª an East windeª shall come,ª° the windeª of the LORDª shall come vpª° from the wildernesse,ª¹ and his springª shall become drie,ª° and his fountaineª shalbe dried vp:ª° he¹ shall spoileª° the treasureª of all¹ pleasantª vessels.ª

Forasmuch as he will cause a division among [his] brethren, the Lord shall bring upon him an east wind from the desert, and shall dry up his veins [and] quite drain his fountains: he shall dry up his land, and [spoil] all his precious vessels.
