Belshazzar, while he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which Nebuchadnezzar his father had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem; that the king and his lords, his wives and his concubines, might drink therefrom.

Belshazzar,ª whiles he tastedª the wine,ª commandedª° to bringª° the goldenª and silverª vesselsª which¹ his fatherª Nebuchadnezzarª had taken²° out¹ ofª the templeª which¹ [was] in Jerusalem;ª that the king,ª and his princes,ª his wives,ª and his concubines,ª might drinkª° therein.

And Belteshazzar{gr.Baltasar} drinking gave orders as he tasted the wine that they should bring the gold and silver vessels, which Nebuchadnezzar{gr.Nabuchodonosor} his father had brought forth from the temple in Jerusalem; that the king, and his nobles, and his mistresses, and his concubines, should drink out of them.
