and thou shalt be driven from men; and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field; thou shalt be made to eat grass as oxen; and seven times shall pass over thee; until thou know that the Most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

And they shall driveª° thee fromª men,ª and thy dwellingª [shall be] withª the beastsª of the field:ª they shall make thee to eatª° grassª as oxen,ª and sevenª timesª shall passª overª thee, untilª¹ thou knowª° that¹ the most Highª rulethª in the kingdomª of men,ª and givethª° it to whomsoeverª¹ he will.ª°
