For thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream: and ye shall suck [thereof]; ye shall be borne upon the side, and shall be dandled upon the knees.

For¹ thus¹ saithª° the LORD,ª Behold,¹ I will extendª° peaceª to¹ her like a river,ª and the gloryª of the Gentilesª like a flowingª° stream:ª then shall ye suck,ª° ye shall be borneª° upon¹ [her] sides,ª and be dandledª° upon¹ [her] knees.ª

For¹ thus¹ saythª° the LORD,ª Behold,¹ I will extendª° peaceª to¹ her like a riuer,ª and the gloryª of the Gentilesª like a flowingª° streame:ª then shall ye sucke,ª° ye shalbe borneª° vpon¹ [her] sides,ª and be dandledª° vpon¹ her knees.ª

For thus saith the Lord, Behold, I turn toward them as a river of peace, and as a torrent bringing upon them in a flood the glory of the Gentiles: their children shall be borne upon the shoulders, and comforted on the knees.

For¹ thus¹ saithª° Yähwè יָהוֶה,ª Behold,¹ I will extendª° peaceª to¹ her like a river,ª and the gloryª of the Gentilesª like a flowingª° stream:ª then shall ye suck,ª° ye shall be borneª° upon¹ [her] sides,ª and be dandledª° upon¹ [her] knees.ª
