And Nehemiah, who was the governor, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto Jehovah your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.

And Nehemiah,ª which¹ [is] the Tirshatha,ª and Ezraª the priestª the scribe,ª° and the Levitesª that taughtª°¹ the people,ª saidª° unto all¹ the people,ª This¹ dayª [is] holyª unto the LORDª your God;ª mournª° not,¹ nor¹ weep.ª° For¹ all¹ the peopleª wept,ª° when they heardª°¹ the wordsª of the law.ª
