And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the broad place that was before the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which Jehovah had commanded to Israel.

And all¹ the peopleª gathered themselves togetherª° as oneª manª into¹ the streetª that¹ [was] beforeª the waterª gate;ª and they spakeª° unto Ezraª the scribeª° to bringª°¹ the bookª of the lawª of Moses,ª which¹ the LORDª had commandedª° to¹ Israel.ª

And all¹ the peopleª gathered themselues together,ª° as oneª man,ª into¹ the streetª that¹ [was] beforeª the waterª gate,ª and they spakeª° vnto Ezraª the scribe,ª° to bringª°¹ the bookeª of the Lawª of Moses,ª which¹ the LORDª had commandedª° to¹ Israel.ª

And the seventh month arrived, and the children of Israel [were settled] in their cities; and all the people were gathered as one man to the broad place before the water-gate, and they told Ezra{gr.Esdras} the scribe to bring the book of the law of Mosheh{gr.Moses}, which the Lord commanded Israel.

And all¹ the peopleª gathered themselves togetherª° as oneª manª into¹ the streetª that¹ [was] beforeª the waterª gate;ª and they spakeª° unto `Ezrà עֶזרָהª the scribeª° to bringª°¹ the bookª of the lawª of Möšè מֹשֶׁה,ª which¹ Yähwè יָהוֶהª had commandedª° to¹ Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל.ª
