Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war [fled] by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden (now the Chaldeans were against the city round about); and [the king] went by the way of the Arabah.

And the cityª was broken up,ª° and all¹ the men²¹ of warª [fled] by nightª by the wayª of the gateª between¹ two walls,ª which¹ [is] by¹ the king'sª garden:ª (now the Chaldeesª [were] against¹ the cityª round about:)ª and [the king] went²°¹ the wayª toward the plain.ª

And the citieª was broken vp,ª° and all¹ the men²¹ of warreª [fled] by night,ª by the wayª of the gate,ª betweene¹ two walles,ª which¹ [is] by¹ the kingsª garden,ª (now the Caldeesª [were] against¹ the citieª round about)ª and [the King] went²°¹ the wayª toward the plaine.ª

And the city was broken up, and all the men of war went forth by night, by the way of the gate between the walls, this is [the gate] of the king's garden: and the Chaldeans [were set] against the city round about: and [the king] went by the way of the plain.
