Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the borders thereof, from Tirzah: because they opened not to him, therefore he smote it; and all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.

Then Mahanaim{gr.Manaem} smote both Tirzah{gr.Thersa} and all that was in it, and its borders extending beyond Tirzah{gr.Thersa}, because they opened not to him: and he smote it, and ripped up the women with child.

Then¹ Mænaçëm מְנַחֵםª smoteª°¹ Tifsaç תִּפסַח,ª and all¹ that¹ [were] therein, and the coastsª thereof from Tirxà תִּרצָה:ª¹ because¹ they openedª° not¹ [to him], therefore he smoteª° [it; and]¹ all¹ the women therein that were with childª he ripped up.ª°
