And Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of Israel: their strongholds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with the sword, and wilt dash in pieces their little ones, and rip up their women with child.

And Hazaelª said,ª° Why¹ weepethª° my lord?ª And he answered,ª° Because¹ I knowª°¹ the evilª that¹ thou wilt doª° unto the childrenª of Israel:ª their strong holdsª wilt thou setª° on fire,ª and their young menª wilt thou slayª° with the sword,ª and wilt dashª° their children,ª and rip upª° their women with child.ª

And Hazael{gr.Azael} said, Why does my lord weep? And he said, Because I know all the evil that thou wilt do to the children of Israel: thou wilt utterly destroy their strong holds with fire, and thou wilt slay their choice men with the sword, and thou wilt dash their infants [against the ground], and their women with child thou wilt rip up.

And Çázä´ël חֲזָאֵלª said,ª° Why¹ weepethª° my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן?ª And he answered,ª° Because¹ I knowª°¹ the evilª that¹ thou wilt doª° unto the childrenª of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל:ª their strong holdsª wilt thou setª° on fire,ª and their young menª wilt thou slayª° with the sword,ª and wilt dashª° their children,ª and rip upª° their women with child.ª
