And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for Jehovah hath sent me as far as Beth-el. And Elisha said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Beth-el.

And Elijahª saidª° unto¹ Elisha,ª Tarryª° here,¹ I pray thee;¹ for¹ the LORDª hath sentª° me to¹ Bethel.ª And Elishaª saidª° [unto him, As] the LORDª liveth,ª and [as] thy soulª liveth,ª I will not¹ leaveª° thee. So they went downª° to Bethel.ª

And Elijahª saidª° vnto¹ Elisha,ª Tarieª° here,¹ I pray thee:¹ for¹ the LORDª hath sentª° me to¹ Bethel:ª and Elishaª saidª° vnto him, As the LORDª liueth,ª and as thy souleª liueth,ª I wil not¹ leaueª° thee. So they went downeª° to Bethel.ª

And Elijah{gr.Eliu} said to Elisha{gr.Elisaie}, Stay here, I pray thee; for God has sent me to Bethel{gr.Baethel}. And Elisha{gr.Elisaie} said, [As] the Lord lives and thy soul lives, I will not leave thee; so they came to Bethel{gr.Baethel}.

So they went downª° to Bêŧ ´Ël בֵּית־אֵל.ª
