And the king said, Is it well with the young man Absalom? And Ahimaaz answered, When Joab sent the king's servant, even me thy servant, I saw a great tumult, but I knew not what it was.

And the kingª said,ª° Is the young manª Absalomª safe?ª And Ahimaazª answered,ª° When Joabª sentª°¹ the king'sª servant,ª and [me] thy servant,ª I sawª° a greatª tumult,ª but I knewª° not¹ what¹ [it was].

And the kingª said,ª° Is the yong manª Absalomª safe?ª And Ahimaazª answered,ª° When Ioabª sentª°¹ the kingsª seruant,ª and [me] thy seruant,ª I sawª° a greatª tumult,ª but I knewª° not¹ what¹ [it was].

And the king said, [Is] the young man Absalom{gr.Abessalom} safe? and Ahimaaz{gr.Achimaas} said, I saw a great multitude [at the time] of Joab's sending the king's servant and thy servant, and I knew not what was there.

And the kingª said,ª° Is the young manª ´Avšälôm אַבשָׁלוֹםª safe?ª And ´Áçîma`ax אֲחִימַעַץª answered,ª° When Yô´äv יוֹאָבª sentª°¹ the king'sª servant,ª and [me] thy servant,ª I sawª° a greatª tumult,ª but I knewª° not¹ what¹ [it was].
