And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in booths; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open field; shall I then go into my house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing.

And Uriahª saidª° unto¹ David,ª The ark,ª and Israel,ª and Judah,ª abideª° in tents;ª and my lordª Joab,ª and the servantsª of my lord,ª are encampedª° in¹ the openª fields;ª shall Iª then goª° into¹ mine house,ª to eatª° and to drink,ª° and to lieª° with¹ my wife?ª [as] thou livest,ª and [as] thy soulª liveth,ª I will not doª°¹ this¹ thing.ª

And Uriah{gr.Urias} said to David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah{gr.Juda} dwell in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; and shall I go into my house to eat and drink, and lie with my wife? how [should I do this? as] thy soul lives, I will not do this thing.
