And when all the kings that were servants to Hadarezer saw that they were put to the worse before Israel, they made peace with Israel, and served them. So the Syrians feared to help the children of Ammon any more.

And when all¹ the kingsª [that were] servantsª to Hadarezerª sawª° that¹ they were smittenª° beforeª Israel,ª they made peaceª° with¹ Israel,ª and servedª° them. So the Syriansª fearedª° to helpª°¹ the childrenª of Ammonª any more.¹

And when all¹ the kingsª [that were] servantsª to Háđađ`ezer הֲדַדעֶזֶרª sawª° that¹ they were smittenª° beforeª Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,ª they made peaceª° with¹ Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,ª and servedª° them. So the ´Árammîm אֲרַמִּיםª fearedª° to helpª°¹ the childrenª of `Ammôn עַמּוֹןª any more.¹
