When they told it unto David, he sent to meet them; for the men were greatly ashamed. And the king said, Tarry at Jericho until your beards be grown, and then return.

When they toldª° [it] unto David,ª he sentª° to meetª° them, because¹ the men²¹ were¹ greatlyª ashamed:ª° and the kingª said,ª° Tarryª° at Jerichoª until¹ your beardsª be grown,ª° and [then] return.ª°
