Now therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be prince over my people, over Israel;

Now¹ therefore¹ so shalt thou sayª° unto my servantª David,ª Thus¹ saithª° the LORDª of hosts,ª I¹ tookª° thee from¹ the sheepcote,ª from followingª¹ the sheep,ª to be¹ rulerª over¹ my people,ª over¹ Israel:ª

Now¹ therefore¹ so shalt thou sayª° vnto my seruantª Dauid;ª Thus¹ saythª° the LORDª of hostes,ª I¹ tookeª° thee from¹ the sheepe-cote,ª from followingª¹ the sheepe,ª to be¹ rulerª ouer¹ my people,ª ouer¹ Israel.ª
