And when David inquired of Jehovah, he said, Thou shalt not go up: make a circuit behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry-trees.

And when Davidª enquiredª° of the LORD,ª he said,ª° Thou shalt not¹ go up;ª° [but] fetch a compassª°¹ behindª them, and comeª° upon them over againstª¹ the mulberry trees.ª
