And it came to pass after this, that David inquired of Jehovah, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And Jehovah said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

And it came to passe¹ after¹ this,²¹ that Dauidª enquiredª° of the LORD,ª saying,ª° Shall I goe vpª° into anyª of the Citiesª of Iudah?ª And the LORDª saidª° vnto¹ him, Goe vp.ª° And Dauidª said,ª° Whither¹ shall I goe vp?ª° And he said,ª° Unto Hebron.ª
