And David saved neither man nor woman alive, to bring them to Gath, saying, Lest they should tell of us, saying, So did David, and so hath been his manner all the while he hath dwelt in the country of the Philistines.

And Davidª savedª° neither¹ manª nor womanª alive,²° to bringª° [tidings] to Gath,ª saying,ª° Lest¹ they should tellª° on¹ us, saying,ª° So¹ didª° David,ª and so¹ [will be] his mannerª all¹ the whileª he dwellethª° in the countryª of the Philistines.ª

And Dauidª sauedª° neither¹ manª nor womanª aliue,²° to bringª° [tidings] to Gath,ª saying,ª° Lest¹ they should tellª° on¹ vs, saying,ª° So¹ didª° Dauid,ª and so¹ will be his maner,ª all¹ the whileª he dwellethª° in the countreyª of the Philistines.ª

And I have not saved man or woman alive to bring them to Gath{gr.Geth}, saying, Lest they carry a report to Gath{gr.Geth} against us, saying, These things David does. And this was his manner all the days that David dwelt in the country of the Philistines.
