For, as Jehovah liveth, who saveth Israel, though it be in Jonathan my son, he shall surely die. But there was not a man among all the people that answered him.

For,¹ [as] the LORDª liveth,ª which savethª°¹ Israel,ª though¹¹ it beª in Jonathan²¹ my son,ª he shall surely²° die.ª° But [there was] not a man¹ among all¹¹ the peopleª [that] answeredª° him.

For¹ as the LORDª liueth,ª which sauethª°¹ Israel,ª though¹¹ it beeª in Ionathan²¹ my sonne,ª he shall surely²° die:ª° But [there was] not a man¹ among all¹¹ the peopleª that answeredª° him.

For as the Lord lives who has saved Israel, if answer should be against my son Jonathan, he shall surely die. And there was no one that answered out of all the people.

For,¹ [as] Yähwè יָהוֶהª liveth,ª which savethª°¹ Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,ª though¹¹ it beª in Yæhônäŧän יְהוֹנָתָן²¹ my son,ª he shall surely²° die.ª° But [there was] not a man¹ among all¹¹ the peopleª [that] answeredª° him.
