Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.

Then saidª° Boaz,ª What dayª thou buyestª° the fieldª of the handª¹ of Naomi,ª thou must buyª° [it] also of¹¹ Ruthª the Moabitess,ª the wifeª of the dead,ª° to raise upª° the nameª of the deadª° upon¹ his inheritance.ª

And Boaz{gr.Booz} said, In the day of thy buying the field of the hand of Naomi{gr.Noemin} and of Ruth the Moabitess the wife of the deceased, thou must also buy her, so as to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.

Then saidª° Bö`az בֹּעַז,ª What dayª thou buyestª° the fieldª of the handª¹ of No`ómî נָעֳמִי,ª thou must buyª° [it] also of¹¹ Rûŧ רוּתª the Mô´áviyyà מוֹאֲבִיָּה,ª the wifeª of the dead,ª° to raise upª° the nameª of the deadª° upon¹ his inheritance.ª
