As they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain base fellows, beset the house round about, beating at the door; and they spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thy house, that we may know him.

[Now] as they¹ were making their hearts² merry,ª°¹¹ behold,¹ the men²¹ of the city,ª certain²¹ sonsª of Belial,ª beset²° the house² round about,ª°¹¹ [and] beatª° at¹ the door,ª and spakeª° to¹ the masterª of the house,ª the old² man,²¹ saying,ª° Bring forthª°¹ the manª that¹ cameª° into¹ thine house,ª that we may knowª° him.

Now as they¹ were making their hearts² merrie,ª°¹¹ behold,¹ the men²¹ of the citie,ª certaine²¹ sonnesª of Belial,ª beset²° the house² round about,ª°¹¹ [and] beatª° at¹ the doore,ª and spakeª° to¹ the masterª of the house,ª the olde² man,²¹ saying;ª° Bring foorthª°¹ the manª that¹ cameª° into¹ thine house,ª that we may knowª° him.

And they [were] comforting their heart, when, behold, the men of the city, sons of transgressors, compassed the house, knocking at the door: and they spoke to the old man the owner of the house, saying, Bring out the man who came into thy house, that we may know him.
