And I gave unto Isaac Jacob and Esau: and I gave unto Esau mount Seir, to possess it: and Jacob and his children went down into Egypt.

And I gaveª° unto Isaacª¹ Jacobª and Esau:ª and I gaveª° unto Esauª¹ mountª Seir,ª to possessª° it; but Jacobª and his childrenª went downª° into Egypt.ª

And I gaueª° vnto Isaac,ª¹ Iacobª and Esau:ª & I gaueª° vnto Esauª¹ mountª Seir,ª to possesseª° it: but Iacobª and his childrenª went downeª° into Egypt.ª

and I gave to him Isaac, and to Isaac Jacob and Esau: and I gave to Esau mount Seir for him to inherit: and Jacob and his sons went down to Mizraim{gr.Egypt}, and became there a great and populous and mighty nation: and the Mizraimites{gr.Egyptians} afflicted them.

And I gaveª° unto Yixçäk יִצחָקª¹ Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹבª and `Ëŝäw עֵשָׂו:ª and I gaveª° unto `Ëŝäw עֵשָׂוª¹ mountª Ŝë`îr שֵׂעִיר,ª to possessª° it; but Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹבª and his childrenª went downª° into Mixrayim מִצרַיִם.ª
