For it was of Jehovah to harden their hearts, to come against Israel in battle, that he might utterly destroy them, that they might have no favor, but that he might destroy them, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

For¹ it was¹ of¹¹ the LORDª to hardenª°¹ their hearts,ª that they should come againstª°¹ Israelª in battle,ª that¹ he might destroy¹ them utterly,²° [and] that they might have¹ no¹ favour,ª but¹ that¹ he might destroyª° them, as¹ the LORDª commandedª°¹ Moses.ª
