that the waters which came down from above stood, and rose up in one heap, a great way off, at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan; and those that went down toward the sea of the Arabah, even the Salt Sea, were wholly cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.

That the watersª which came downª° from aboveª¹ stoodª° [and] rose upª° upon anª heapª veryª farª° from the cityª Adam,ª¹ that¹ [is] besideª¹ Zaretan:ª and those that came downª° toward¹ the seaª of the plain,ª [even] the saltª sea,ª failed,ª° [and] were cut off:ª° and the peopleª passed overª° right against¹ Jericho.ª

That the watersª which came downeª° from aboue,ª¹ stoodª° [and] rose vpª° vpon anª heapeª veryª farre,ª° from the cityª Adam,ª¹ that¹ [is] besideª¹ Zaretan:ª and those that came downeª° toward¹ the seaª of the plaine,ª [euen] the saltª sea,ª failed,ª° [and] were cut off:ª° and the peopleª passed ouerª° right against¹ Iericho.ª

then the waters that came down from above stopped; there stood one solid heap very far off, as far as the region of Kariathiarim, and the lower part came down to the sea of Araba, the salt sea, till it completely failed; and the people stood opposite Jericho.

That the watersª which came downª° from aboveª¹ stoodª° [and] rose upª° upon anª heapª veryª farª° from the cityª ´Äđäm אָדָם,ª¹ that¹ [is] besideª¹ Xärŧän צָרתָן:ª and those that came downª° toward¹ the seaª of the plain,ª [even] the saltª sea,ª failed,ª° [and] were cut off:ª° and the peopleª passed overª° right against¹ Yærîçô יְרִיחוֹ.ª
