And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the first-born that openeth the womb among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine:

And I,¹ behold,¹ I have takenª°¹ the Levitesª from amongª¹ the childrenª of Israelª instead of¹ all¹ the firstbornª that openethª the matrixª among the childrenª¹ of Israel:ª therefore the Levitesª shall be¹ mine;

And I,¹ behold,¹ I haue takenª°¹ the Leuitesª from amongª¹ the childrenª of Israel,ª in stead of¹ all¹ the first borneª that openethª the matriceª among the childrenª¹ of Israel:ª therefore the Leuitesª shall be¹ mine,

Behold, I have taken the Levites from the midst of the children of Israel, instead of every male that opens the womb from among the children of Israel: they shall be their ransom, and the Levites shall be mine.

And I,¹ behold,¹ I have takenª°¹ the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּםª from amongª¹ the childrenª of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵלª instead of¹ all¹ the firstbornª that openethª the matrixª among the childrenª¹ of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל:ª therefore the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּםª shall be¹ mine;
