And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown up, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he saw an Egyptian smiting a Hebrew, one of his brethren.

And it came to pass¹ in those¹ days,ª when Möšè מֹשֶׁהª was grown,ª° that he went outª° unto¹ his brethren,ª and lookedª° on their burdens:ª and he spiedª° a Mixrî מִצרִיªª smitingª° an `Ivrî עִברִי,ª¹ one of his brethren.ª¹
