Proverbs 18
1 From this chapter to the five and twentieth are sundry observations of moral virtues, and their contrary vices.
18:1
He who separates 6504 himself seeks 1245 [his own] desire 8378, He quarrels 1566 against all 3605 sound 8454 wisdom 8454.
18:2
A fool 3684 does not delight 2654a in understanding 8394, But only 518 in revealing 1540 his own mind 3820.

When a wicked 7563 man 7563 comes 935, contempt 937 also 1571 comes 935, And with dishonor 7036 [comes] scorn 2781.

The words 1697 of a man’s 376 mouth 6310 are deep 6013 waters 4325; The fountain 4726 of wisdom 2451 is a bubbling 5042 brook 5158a.

To show 5375 partiality 5375 6440 to the wicked 7563 is not good 2896a, [Nor] to thrust 5186 aside 5186 the righteous 6662 in judgment 4941.
