And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; that the third part of them should be darkened, and the day should not shine for the third part of it, and the night in like manner.

Andª the¹ fourthª angelª sounded,ª° andª the¹ third partª of the¹ sunª was smitten,ª° andª the¹ third partª of the¹ moon,ª andª the¹ third partª of the¹ stars;ª so asª the¹ third partª of themª was darkened,ª° andª the¹ dayª shoneª° notª for a third partª of it,²¹ andª the¹ nightª likewise.ª

And the Fourth angel sounded. And the third of the sun was absorbed, and the third of the moon, and the third of the stars, as that the third of them should be darkened; and they were darkened, and the day shone not a third of it, and the night, in like manner.

And the fourth angel sounded, and a third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so that the third part of them were dark, and they became dark; and the day did not give light for the third part of it, and the night in like manner.

Καὶ ὁ τέταρτος ἄγγελος ἐσάλπισεν: καὶ ἐπλήγη τὸ τρίτον τοῦ ἡλίου καὶ τὸ τρίτον τῆς σελήνης καὶ τὸ τρίτον τῶν ἀστέρων, ἵνα σκοτισθῇ τὸ τρίτον αὐτῶν καὶ ἡ ἡμέρα μὴ φάνῃ τὸ τρίτον αὐτῆς, καὶ ἡ νὺξ ὁμοίως.

And the-one fourth a-messenger it-trumpeted-to, and it-had-been-smitten the-one third of-the-one of-a-sun and the-one third of-the-one of-a-moon and the-one third of-the-ones of-stars, so it-might-have-been-obscured-to the-one third of-them, and the-one a-day lest it-might-have-had-been-manifested to-the-one to-third of-it, and the-one a-night unto-along-belonged.
