he that doeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. To this end was the Son of God manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

He that committethª° sinª isª° ofª the¹ devil;ª forª the¹ devilª sinnethª° fromª the beginning.ª Forª this purposeª the¹ Sonª of Godª was manifested,ª° thatª he might destroyª° the¹ worksª of the¹ devil.ª
